Beach with the Segrest's 2011

Fort Morgan is the beach. Brainstopper is the house. Craziness is inside!
Our attempt at a cousin picture in the CUTE Life is Good pjs that Ninny and Dee got them in Denver.
Luke, Camp, Ben, Nash, Eli, Macy, Tate (Birth order)
Tate is not having it below!
 Annnnnnnd, He's done. Annnnnnd Macy's scared =)
But not anymore! She is quite possibly the happiest baby I have ever seen! (Nash was a pretty happy baby, but Macy takes the cake!)
 The love is BIG!
My babies. If you look close, you can tell that Nash had been crying. Once I told him that he had to stop crying and smile for a cookie, he dried it up! I'm not above bribery, people!

The pictures below crack me up. I love little-boy-awkward-hugs. (This is the ONLY day that I took my camera to the beach!) I really just sat and enjoyed my boys. This was the easiest beach year for me since having kids. No diapers. No wipes. No pullups. No floaties. Everyone liked the sand. No special food. I could go on. It was GREAT! I even read a book! GASP!
I promise I feed my kids. For real. I do.

This kid eats all day long. I'm not kidding. Bottomless pit. And look at him!!! He is growing taller with every breath.
I can't handle the cuteness that is Cade! You know how I said that Macy was the happiest baby? Well, Cade-man is the EASIEST! I swear, I have only heard the kids cry like 2 times in two years. He is content with chilling!
Racing the waves in our 'gobbles' with Eli!
Camp and Luke racing the waves. Notice Camp's flippers water shoes. They were too big but were a must! He stubbed his toe a couple of weeks before the beach. Let me tell you, it was BAD. Usually when Camp hurts himself, he cries, we say "shake it off, you are fine", then he shakes it off and is fine. WELLLLL, when he stubbed his big toe, it BLED, he CRIED and Chad and I were looking at eachother with the "holy-moly-that-looks-like-it-hurts-like-a-big-dog" eyes while telling him that it wasn't "that bad"! It bled A LOT. And he lost half of his toe nail. Then got infected. Yuck. Poor kid.
 Baywatch, here we come!
We needed extra eyes watching the little people on this day. The waves were big and the rip tide was strong!
Rest after the beach. Stand in front of the cartoons on the TV and you will get them all looking at you. They may not be smiling, but they are looking! (Ben, Luke, Nash, Camp, Cade, Eli)

Swimming Lessons 2011

Once again, we took swim lessons from the fabulous Mrs. Kay! BIG THANKS to Ninny and Dee for doing this for our kids every year. It helps big time when we are swimming in their pool at their house! =) Kay is amazing and I owe her my life for teaching both of my children how to SWIM! You heard me right! After this year of lessons, Nash is OFFICIALLY A SWIMMER! I even bought a new 'safety seal' floater this year not expecting him to 'get it' this year. But he is a FISHY! I don't know why I am suprised, Nash has NEVER been afraid of the water and has always LOVED it!

Below: The older three (and a random girl watching on the left) get ready to DIVE in the deep end for a race! Luke, Camp and Ben swam. In a race. The LENGTH OF THE POOL! I can't handle the grown-up-edness of it all.
Camp strutting to the deep end to practice diving.
And there he goes! This guy can dive! After this day, we had a MAJOR talk about only diving when you have permission from an adult. Ninny and Dee's pool is NOT for diving!

Below, Dee and Doc. Need I say more? They came to watch all the waterbugs on the last day. =)

The 'little boy group' was Eli, Nash and Cade. This picture cracks me up because it is sweet Cade pointing at Nash when Mrs. Kay asked whose turn it was! Ha! This was Cade's first year at swimming (he is two) and he did SO WELL!
Nash getting ready to jump in! (Cade, Nash, Eli)
Nash and Eli practicing in the deep end.
 He's NOT scared =)
 Sweet wet hugs for Ninny.
All the cousins (except for Tate) at swimming lessons! Macy, Nash, Luke, Camp, Ben, Eli and Cade. All in all, when we have Tate there, it is 7 boys and 1 girl. Sweet, sweet May May!

My Heart

is walking around outside of my body in the form of two little boys.

And I must say - these boys are growing up way. too. fast.

Camp's K4 End of the year party!

Camp loved his teachers and his new friends! We are looking forward to Kindergarten!
This was the T-shirt he made for 'car wash' day. The last week of school, the kids wash their teacher's cars! The kids LOVE it and the teachers get their cars clean! Well, at least their tires and the bottom half of their doors =)

More Baseball
